THEME:
Recognizing His Incarnation and Worshiping Jesus, the King!
He IS the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, & The Prince of Peace!!!
Isaiah 9:2, 6 and Isaiah 61:1-3 (MEV)
Meditation Verse: Isaiah 9:6
Isaiah 9:2, 6
2 The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light;
those who dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them the light has shined.
those who dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them the light has shined.
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulder. And his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 61:1-3
1 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor; He has sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
2 to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn,
3 to preserve those who mourn in Zion, to give to them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified.
Together, We are Empowered by Him to do GREAT THINGS for HIS GLORY!
